How to Scent Your Decorative Pumkins with Rosemary Scented Metallic Glazes
From our Newsletter:
Several years ago Rhonda, my dear artist friend, and I decided to scent some metallic paints with essential oils to create passive diffusers for the holidays. We glazed mini pumpkins and gourds & even tree branches.
The effect was "scentsational" (my word). So in honor of our oil of the month Rosemary I ran a live FB demo on how to do this. Here is the replay on my website for you to watch.
You will need:
- Essential Oil of Rosemary
- Metallic Acrylic Paints
- Bowls or palettes for the paints
- Bowl of water for rinsing brushes
